Jumping rope is the most common exercise for boxers. In each boxing hall there is a different arsenal of exercises that develop the necessary skills in boxing: coordination, sense of balance, speed, endurance. But skipping rope is present at every step.
Absolutely every boxer perfectly masters the skipping rope, performing various tricks that seem impossible to the average person: double jumps, jumps with arms crossed, jumps with movements, jumps in full squats and many other options.
There is no recipe for learning how to jump. It’s all about the amount of time spent with the skipping rope. It’s like learning to walk or ride a bike – you fall, you try again and again, until you understand the mechanics of movement.
Patience and hard work are all you need to learn boxing.
